Terms and Conditions – Serenity Oceanside Guest House

  1. Reservation and Confirmation:
    a. All reservations are subject to availability.
    b. To secure a reservation, full payment is required at the time of booking.
    c. The hotel will send a confirmation email or provide a confirmation number upon successful booking.
  2. Check-In and Check-Out:
    a. Check-in time is 2 PM or later.
    b. Check-out time is until 12 noon.
    c. Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  3. Occupancy:
    a. The maximum occupancy per guestroom is as specified during the booking process.
    b. Additional guests beyond the specified occupancy may not be accommodated, or extra charges may apply.
  4. Damage Deposit:
    a. A refundable damage deposit may be required upon check-in.
    b. The amount of the deposit will be communicated during the reservation process.
    c. The deposit will be refunded at check-out, after ensuring no damage to the guestroom or hotel property.
  5. Smoking Policy:
    a. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the hotel, including guestrooms.
    b. Guests who violate this policy may be subject to additional cleaning fees and penalties.
  6. Pet Policy:
    a. Pets are not allowed within the hotel premises, except for service animals as defined by applicable laws.
  7. Payment:
    a. We accept cash as the only form of payment on-site.
    b. Payment is required at check-in or as per the terms specified during the reservation process.
    c. All rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
  8. Common Kitchen:
    a. A common kitchen is available for guest use.
    b. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking.
    c. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  9. Cancellation, No-Show, and Reschedule:
    a. No-shows or cancellations are non-refundable.
    b. Guests are not eligible for a refund in case of no-show or cancellation.
    c. Rescheduling is allowed, but it can only be done once and is subject to availability.
  10. Cleaning Services:
    a. We are conscious of our environmental responsibility, so housekeeping is available upon request only for guests staying 3 nights or more.
    b. Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness in their rooms during their stay.
    c. Any excessive cleaning required due to negligence or damage caused by guests may incur additional charges.
  11. Liability:
    a. The hotel is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their belongings during their stay.
    b. Guests are responsible for their personal safety, valuables, and belongings.
  12. Right to Refuse Service:
    a. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including, but not limited to, violation of hotel policies, unruly behavior, or failure to comply with local laws.
